Hinglaj Shakti Peeth Balochistan

* Hinglaj is an important Hindu pilgrimage place in Balochistan. Its on ‘Kanraj’ Mountain - bank of river hingol in the middle of Hingol National Park.

* Hinglaj is the kuldevi of many Kshatriya, Charan and other Hindu Communities of India

* Hinglaj is located in balochistan which is around 250 km ( 170 miles ) north of Karachi.

* It is said that the head of Mata fell at Hingula or Hinglaj and is thus considered the most important of the 51 Shakti Peeths.

* The Devi is known by several names such as Kottari, Kottavi, Kottarisha, and the Bhairava is Bhimalochana.

* Hinglaj is her main temple of Goddess Hinglaj Mata, temples dedicated to her exist in neighbouring Indian states Gujarat and Rajasthan.
